Day 14
I'm still continuing to have my smoothies every morning and afternoon, just because I love the energy boosting feeling and all the other health benefits that come with it.
I weighed myself in this morning at 122.2. So no change from last week, but I did eat a little too much pizza and sugar this weekend. I think if I allow myself to have a treat here and there but not overindulge I'll be able to shed some more weight.

Day 7
MY PROGRESS
I'm so happy to report that I've lost an additional 1 pound! I weighed myself in this morning at 122! So that's a total of 8 pounds in just 7 days.
I was actually surprised that I still lost some weight because after the 3 day cleanse I started to eat regular food again. I did still make the smoothies every day and had one in the morning and one in the afternoon, just because I love the energy boost it gives me and I don't feel as hungry afterwards.
My daily diet has been a lot of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and lean meats (fish, chicken, and turkey). I also love cheese so I did have some cheese these passed few days and also some greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom (some extra protein and I love they way they taste). I also went to a baby shower this weekend and a piece of cake and yesterday I had a peanut butter cookie at work.
I try not to restrict myself too much because I know that can back fire, from past experiences. But overall, I've been eating pretty healthy with a little bit of treats here and there and still managed to lose another pound. Amazing :)

Day 3
Today is my last day of the cleanse.
WEIGHT:
I weighed myself in at 6:00am this morning and I am 123.2 lbs! I lost 7 pounds in 3 days! Woah... I thought I would only lose 2 or 3 pounds max.
Now that I think of it, I was eating pretty bad before I started the cleanse. I went on vacation with my husband and his family to Punta Cana and ate lots of buffet style food and had lots of Pina Coladas :)
Plus I noticed on this cleanse I had so much energy so my metabolism must of been at all all time high.
I'm just so impressed because I didn't feel like I starved myself and even today I don't feel that hungry or deprived.
I did do some exercising yesterday morning, for about 20 minutes, which is usually my normal workout routine. I exercise at home with fitness DVDs. My favorite is the Insanity set.
Notes on Day 3:

Much better now that I know how to make it correctly. Tasted a lot like blueberries which I love. There's a new ingredient list to follow for each day and this day was the first day that incorporated berries into it. - HOW WELL I DID
The instructions were to make 64 oz. of the smoothy in the morning and drink 8 oz. every hour. I probably got through 50 oz or so but then I felt a little bungry at dinner time and ended up eating lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, and a little bit of hummus as dressing. - ENERGY LEVEL
Still amazed at my energy level. Kept steady all day and I was definitely in a good mood all day. Plus no headaches, which is good. Look like just Day 2 was the only day I experienced a minor headache. - HUNGER LEVEL
Didn't feel very hungry, just a little around dinner. At night I sipped on water with some lemon in it. Also, I love tea so throughout the 3 days I've been drinking hot green tea (decaf) with a packet of Stevia. - CRAVINGS
My workplace loves to have parties and yesterday they had a Super Bowl lunch where everyone brought in a Super Bowl type food to enjoy. There was 2 kinds of homemade chili (which smelled absolutely amazing), all kinds of chips and dips, pizza, chicken wings, buffalo chicken, brownies, cookies, chocolate eclairs, and cheesecake. Ridiculous. I brought in pizza and didn't even have any. And even though everything smelled so good, all I had was some carrots, celery, and red pepper strips! I did so well! I came in a little late to the party and sat in the back so no one could really see that I wasn't eating any junk food. - OVERALL THOUGHTS
I am beyond impressed with this cleanse and has really changed my outlook on the importance of cleansing your body with raw natural foods. For the next 2 days after the cleanse I am supposed to still eat just vegetables but I can cook them now. But I want to continue making these drinks on a regular basis. The way I feel on them, the energy, the better sleep, the mind clarity, and the weight loss are all worth it.
Plus, I can't wait to create my official website and help others with this cleanse! Very soon I will be setting up a website that has all the ingredients to the cleanse as well as a facebook group so people on the cleanse can interact and share their experiences on it.

Day 2
- SLEEP
My sleep the night after Day 1 was great! I went to bed very easily around 10pm and woke up to my alarm clock at 6am. The best part was when I woke up, I got up so easily. I couldn't believe how refreshed I felt. I'm always a little groggy in the morning, but not this morning. I'm very impressed. - TASTE
The Day 2 drink tasted way better than Day 1. I'm thinking maybe I messed up the amounts of ingredients in the Day 1 drink. I think I put too many vegetables and nuts in the Day 1 drink which made it have that terrible taste. The Day 2 tasted a little bit sweeter because I had more fruit in it. It didn't taste bad at all and I was able to drink it easily throughout the day. - HOW WELL I DID
The instructions were to make 64 oz. of the smoothy in the morning and drink 8 oz. every hour. I probably got through 40 oz. today. I just kept sipping it throughout the day. However, you need to refrigerate it even so often because it doesn't taste that great warm. So I had two water bottles of the drink that I would rotate with. - ENERGY LEVEL
Same as yesterday, I was amazed of the burst of energy I got after just having a few sips of the smoothy. My energy level was very stable throughout the day. I also noticed I was laughing alot more than usual! It put me in such a great mood. - HUNGER LEVEL
Didn't feel very hungry! This smoothy was definitely an appetite suppressant. Sipping it throughout the day definitely helps with keeping my hunger level steady, but surprisingly with such a low-calorie drink I didn't feel hungry at all. There was only one point where at work I had 2 one-hour meetings so I didn't have my drink and I felt a little hungry after that, so I had my drink and also a small apple. - CRAVINGS
My cravings for junk food are completely gone! I just find it amazing that I have no desire to eat junk food and I would definitely like to continue eating this way even after the cleanse just because of the way I feel and energy level I have is something I haven't experienced in a long time. Plus, I love not feeling that afternoon crash of fatigue. I've been pretty high-energy all day. - OVERALL THOUGHTS
Headaches:
Unfortunately in the morning and late at night I did have a minor headache, but it did go away quickly after drinking a tall glass of water. I've heard from others that it could be from all the toxins releasing from your body during the cleanse or from not having caffeine. I'm not a big caffeine drinker but I do have 1 or 2 small cups of coffee a day, so I guess it could be from that.
Belly!
I noticed int he morning that my stomach went down a lot! It feel so much flatter.
Social:
It can be a little difficult when doing a cleanse when there's parties or free food around. Today, Friday, at work we are doing a SuperBowl party for lunch where everyone brings in a dish. I want to attend but it might be a little embarrassing telling them I can eat all the stuff we'll have like pizza, buffalo wings, and all that SuperBowl American food! I'll just have to keep sipping on my drink and tough it out. My plan is to show up late so maybe I'll miss out on the food and just get to hang out with my co-workers and chit-chat.

Day 1
Yesterday was the start of my 72 Hour Cleanse.
INTENTIONS FOR THIS CLEANSE:
I really liked the idea behind this cleanse — you basically create a smoothy from all raw, organic vegetables and fruits and some nuts (your body needs healthy omega 3 fat to get rid of the bad fat). Each day is a new set of fruits and vegetables.
I will give full details on the official name of the program once I receive my personal link for it :)
What this cleanse is supposed to offer and what others have reported:
- increased energy
- better sleep
- weight loss
- loss of bad cravings
- reduced hunger
- skin enhancement
- overall better health (some even goes as far as reducing diabetes, heart problems, and blood pressure)
STARTING WEIGHT:
I weighed myself in at 6:30am and I was 130 lbs. (I'm 5'3") and 130 is a little much for me. I'll be honest and mention that I was eating a little bad before starting this cleanse. I'll weigh my self after day 3 as well to see how much weight I lose on this cleanse.
Notes on Day:
- TASTE
The taste was terrible! ewww... it smelled and tasted like puke, so it was really hard to get down. I think it's the combination of fruits, vegetables and nuts all together that make it so bad. I tried adding some Stevia to it but it didn't really help much. - HOW WELL I DID
The instructions were to make 64 oz. of the smoothy in the morning and drink 8 oz. every hour. I only could handle a few sips every hours so I maybe only got 16-20 oz down. So I decided to eat a handful of blueberries for lunch. I also had lettuce, cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, and hummus as dressing for dinner. Also I was a little hungry in the evening and ate half an apple, a few pieces of pineapple, and a handful of raw almonds. So I still kept my diet in line with the ingredients of the smoothy (basically raw foods). - ENERGY LEVEL
Wow! I was actually amazed that I got a burst of energy after just having a few sips of the smoothy or eating the raw food. I was surprised because I've done some other cleanses in the past and those made me feel very drained. - HUNGER LEVEL
Didn't feel very hungry! This smoothy was definitely an appetite suppressant. I think it was because of all the fiber from the fruits and vegetables, plus I was giving my body all the nutrients it needs to be at it's best so removing all process and cooked foods from my diet just for one day actually didn't make me hungry at all. When I did feel hungry (around lunch, dinner, and at night) it wasn't a very strong hunger and I didn't even eat that much. - CRAVINGS
Didn't have much cravings! Usually around the mid-afternoon I'm searching for a sweet snack and I start to feel a fatigued around 4:00 - 5:00. Today that didn't happen at all. Because I was sipping this smoothy throughout the day it kept my hunger levels down and I didn't have any spikes in hunger and fatigue (like sometimes I do when I eat lots of sugary, fatty, or processed foods). To my shock, at night when I got a little hungry, I wasn't even craving anything bad. - OVERALL THOUGHTS
I was surprised and happy with my energy levels however the taste was almost unbearable. I think for tomorrow I might just make a small smoothy to sip throughout the day and eat the rest of the ingredients separately.
